Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2012)
About AICTE CMAT 2012: AICTE is conducting the first National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)-2012 for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE for the year 2012-13. The testing window for computer based test will be open for nine days i.e. from 20th February, 2012 to 28th February, 2012 in 61 cities. The candidates will have option of selecting date and city for appearing in the test.

Eligibility Criteria: Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT.
NOTE : “The eligibility criteria for admission to Management programs (Diploma and Post-Graduation) is 50% in graduation for General and OBC category and 45% in graduation for SC/ST/PD category”
CMAT 2012 Exam Fee: General/OBC – Rs.1200/- & SC/ST/PD – Rs.600/-
Mode of Payment: Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card: Online through www.aicte-cmat.in
Cash Payment: Through challan generated online and Cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of
India.
How to Apply: Candidates are requested to apply online through AICTE CMAT 2012 website www.aicte-cmat.in between 9.12.2011 to 9.01.2012.

AICTE CMAT 2012 Exam Pattern: AICTE CMAT 2012 Exam consists of following Pattern.
Duration of exam will be 180 minutes.

There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
A Trial test will be available from 12th Dec onwards for the candidates to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality.
