2. Metallurgy: 21

4. Instrumentation: 01

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-28 years 01/11/2011, upper age limit relaxation is as per Govt rules

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess Diploma in Engineering in Metallurgy/Mechanical (General) / Electrical and Electronics / Instrumentation Technology

Selection Process: Selection is done based on written test, Interview and Medical examination

Application Fee: Rs 250/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Pay fee through DD drawn in favour of SAIL-VISL,   Payable at Bhadravathi-577 301, Shivamogga District, Karnataka State in any Nationalized Bank

How to Apply: The eligible candidates may apply online through http://www.sail.co.in/ website from 20.01.2012 to 09.02.2012. Take hard copy of filled application & send along with DD name written on reverse, photocopies of necessary certificates in closed envelope super-scribed “Application for the post of “Operator-cum-Technician-Trainee”  in Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant”, to the following address Sr. Manager-Personnel (Employee Services), SAIL-Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant, Bhadravathi-577 301, Shivamogga District, Karnataka on or before 18-02-2012

Online Apply Instructions:

1. Candidates should have valid & active E-Mail ID for registration.

2. Candidates visit sail site and click on online apply for filling online application.

3. Enter pay in slip details like journal number, transaction Id, bank name etc in proper space provided in application.

4. Candidates must fill all the mandatory columns by reading instruction guidelines.

5. After completion of filling, click on submit. A unique registration number will be generated. Keep this for future reference.

6. Take print out of filled application and send to respective address
