·      If the no. of applications received in response to this advertisement is large and it may not be convenient or possible to examine all the applications, the GM at his discretion may restrict the no. of candidates, to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

 

• AGE RELAXATION:-

Ø                  For SC/ST candidates           -           5 years

Ø                  For OBC candidates              -           3 years

Ø                  No age relaxation will available for the candidates of reserved category applying for unreserved posts.

Ø                  Up to the age of 40 years to Government Servants who have completed minimum 3 years regular service.

Ø                  For Ex-S’man -           The upper age limit shall be relaxed by the length o military service increased by three + age relaxation to the Ex-S’man candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC as mentioned. 

 

How to Apply:-

 

i)                   The candidates who fulfill the requisite qualifications/specifications as mentioned above have to apply On-line through website http://www.ofajadmin.com only from 12/12/2011 onwards.

 

ii)                 After submitting the online application form a Serial No. will be generated automatically. This serial no. can be used for reference. This serial number and date of birth (both) of candidate should be used for taking the printout/hard copy of filled in application and send this application to Ordnance Factory Ambajhari, Nagpur duly completed in all respect. While sending the application, these instruction must be followed:

 

a)   Affixing/pasting one recent color passport size photograph of the candidate on specified space, putting his/her signature on the photo without hiding his/her face. 

 

b)              The  printout of the filled application form should be signed and impression of left hand thumb at proper place sent to Ordnance Factory  Ambajhari. Applications should be addressed to -The General Manager, Ordnance Factory Ambajhari, NAGPUR – 440 021 (MAHARASHTRA).

 

c)   Along with the application attested copies  of the  following documents must be attached :

Copies of requisite certificates in support of age(Date of Birth) and qualification, experience, caste certificate in r/o  SC/ST/OBC candidates and valid Non-creamy layer certificate in respect of OBC Candidates.

 

d) TWO (02) additional recent self signed photographs are to be enclosed separately with the application.

e)   Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO)/Demand Dratf of value of Rs. 50/-(Rs. Fifty only) in favour of ‘The  General Manager, Ordnance Factory Ambajhari, Nagpur payable at ‘Nagpur’. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST, PHP and Ex-Serviceman need not send any Indian Postal Order. The examination fees is Non-refundable.

iii)             The complete filled-in application along with the above enclosures should be directly sent to the Addressee in an envelop clearly written  with words (in capital letters) i.e. “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _________ ”

iv)               Persons working in Central/State Government /PSU must apply through proper channel only.

v)                 SC/ST/OBC/PHP Certificates should be in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority, applicable for reservation in jobs under Govt. of India.

vi)               The candidates seeking OBC reservation is required to submit a certificate regarding his OBC status and Non Creamy layer status issued by a Competent Authority and should be valid on the last date of receipt of application.

 

Last date of Receipt of Application at OFAJ  (on-line filled application alongwith attested copies of documents):-      The closing date of receipt of applications will be 21/01/2012.

 

Rejection of Application :  The application shall be summarily rejected on following grounds.

i)          If, application is received after the last date of receipt of printout of application                    form.

ii)         If, Date & signature is not appended in the Application form at the prescribed places.

iii)        If, the candidate does not put ‘Left Hand Thumb Impression’ in the application form at the prescribed column of the proforma.

iv)        If, Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order is drawn before the Publication of this advertisement or is not crossed.

v)         If, the age of the candidate exceeds the prescribed age limit on the closing date.

vi)        If the essential qualification is not possessed by the candidate.

vii)       If, photograph (self signed) is not pasted in application form and the signature is not partly on the photograph and partly on the application form and same is not accompanied by two more (self signed on the front of the photograph) photographs.

viii)      If copies of all supporting documents duly attested are not enclosed.

ix)        In case of OBC candidates if ‘Non-Creamy-Layer’ certificate is not attached.

x)         If application is not complete in any respect as per the requirement given in the advertisement.

xi)        If, name of the Post is not clearly written on the top of the envelope in capital letters.

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

(1)              If the candidate wants to apply for more than one post, separate applications are required to be forwarded.

(2)              The crucial date for determining the Age Limit shall be the last date of receipt of application.

(3)              All the above posts carry pay scales as shown against each plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Govt. Employees from time to time.

(4)              TA/DA will be paid to the SC/ST/PHP candidates as per the rules.

(5)              Mere submission of application form does not guarantee issue of Admit Card.

(6)              Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.

(7)              Ordnance Factory Ambajhari will not be responsible for any postal delay.

(8)              New entrants to the Government service will be governed by New Pension Scheme termed as ‘Defined Contributory Pension Scheme’.

(9)              The candidate is liable to be transferred to any of the Ordnance Factories in India, in case of exigency of services.

(10)         Only selected candidates would be communicated of their selection in due course after the selection process.

(11)         The services of the candidates furnishing any fake/false Certificates are liable to be terminated at any stage after appointment. Apart from this, suitable action will also be initiated as per the Law of the Land. Hence, candidates are advised not to submit dubious certificates.
