The Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh Ltd. (CPGCBL) entrusted with
the responsibility of best utilization of coal resource and generate electricity to meet
the growing demand 'of the country, has'already'started functioning. Now'the
CPGCBL invites application from qualified professionals for the following post.
1. Managing Director: (01)
The Managing Director shall be the Chief Executive of the company responsible
and reportable to the Board of Directors of the company as per provisions of the
Articles of Association of the company. He shall be responsible for overall
administration, corporate planning and business development and for the overall
co-ordination of CPGCBL's management. Other important tasks will include
formulation of rules, regulations and operational systems of the organization,
dealing with legal matters, negotiation with national and international financial
institutions, etc.
Qualifications of the Candidate:
BSc/MSc in Engg. preferably Electrical/Mechanical Discipline, in addition to that the
candidates with MBA degree will be given preference. Anybody possessing higher
educational qualifications may feel free to apply and will be given special
considerations.


Experiences of the Candidate:
Candidates must have minimum 25 (twenty-five) years of practical experience in large public electricity utility organizations or industrial or commercial establishments in the public sectors including at least 1 (one) year experience in the second/third/fourth position of such organization. Candidates working in private sector with 25 years of practical experience including at least 1 (one) year experience in the first position of such organization. Candidate with multi disciplinary qualification will be preferred.
