JEE 2013 Mains Exam Date, Syllabus, Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form and Notification
As notified earlier, it is again brought to the notice of all the aspirant and registered candidates of JEE (Main)-2013 that the facility for correction in their data (particulars) will be operational on the website www.jeemain.nic.in from 15.01.2013 to 24.01.2013. All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, in their registration form. However, the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen & paper based is not allowed. Since, it is one time facility, extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, the candidates are advised to make the corrections, if any, latest by 24.01.2013. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by the JEE Unit under any circumstances. The correction slip generated after corrections with the bank draft of additional amount (if applicable) and copy of earlier confirmation page is to be sent to JEE Unit on the address mentioned below so as to reach latest by 31.01.2013.
Admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions shall involve the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
From 2013 onwards Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2013 for Admission to B.E/ B.Tech/ B.ARch/ B.Planning Engineering Programes in IITs, NITs and Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, etc.JEE 2013 Mains Eligibility:-
The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE(MAIN) 2013 is that a candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2013 may also appear in JEE(MAIN) 2013 provisionally.
JEE Main 2013 Pattern / Syllabus:-
Paper 1 for B.E/B.TECH
Subjects:- Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
Type:- Objective type questions with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
Duration:- 3 Hours
Paper 2 for B.ARCH/B. PLANNING
Subjects:-
Mathematics – Part I
Aptitude Test – Part II &
Drawing Test – Part III
Type:- Objective type questions Objective type questions questions to test Drawing Aptitude
Duration:- 3 Hours
There will be objective type questions with four options having single correct answer. For each incorrect response, one fourth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet.
JEE Advanced 2013 Important Dates/ Notification:-
JEE Advanced Offline Exam will be held on 2nd Jun 2013. There will not be any online exam for JEE-Advanced.
JEE Advanced 2013 Paper Pattern:-
The JEE (Advanced)-2013 will have two objective type papers. Each paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Duration of each paper will be 3-hours.
Question papers will be in both English and Hindi.
