Nagpur University Wants error-free evaluation in Summer 2013 Examination
Nagpur University decided to accord top-most priority to declaration of postponed engineering examination results. Efforts will be made to declare results in 30 days and all care will be taken to ensure error-free evaluation, promised RTMNU authorities. Taking lessons from past mistakes. RTMNU authorities have adopted measures like increase in number of flying squads. use of modern technology during valuation. reshuffling of examination centres.
Last year most of the alleged goof-ups were observed in engineering examinations. Considering this. VC Dr Vilas Sapkal has convened a meeting of Principals of Engineering colleges. VC along with the colleges have planned to undertake assessment with the help of good number of teachers so as to declare error-free results within 30 days. Planning is also being made to start next semester immediately after the examination by third week of January so that their summer examinations can begin in April or May. Will this planning, results can he declared in June or July so that future prospects can be kept intact.
In order to eliminate errors and malpractices. RTMNU has reshuffled the examination centres, issued instructions to principals and teachers, valuers, moderators. A strategic plan is prepared for phase-wise implementation of reforms in examination and valuation and revaluation.
