VARIOUS performances in stage play category enthralled the audiences present at Rashtrasanth Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur Univcrsity's (RTMNU) Vidyarthi Parishad's Inter College Sanskrutik Yuwamahotsav, 'Yuwarang 2013' at Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh I lall. hereon Wednesday.
The inter-collegiate youth festival of the RTMNU aims to celebrate and bring together youths to perform, to entertain, to learn and to keep alive the cultural spirit in the city.
On day two of the four days long cultural fest. events like mimicry, mime, skit and one act play were held. These events in the stage play category had large number of students coming from various colleges of the city to witness the performances. The spectators were charmed with inspiring acts spread out in four different events and goose bumping performances.The central topic for the events ranged from a pensively reflective play on the serious issue of communalism in India to a hilariously imaginative take on Yamraj and a very modern Chitragupta. in today's limes. These various performances with different issues featured talent of students. This youth fest organised by RTMNU has given a platform to city youngsters to come out with their talent and perform various shades of their talents. The fest will continue till January 25, in which various competitions will be held. More than hundred students performed in the drama on Wednesday.
The results of the performances will be declared on January 25. the concluding day of the festival. Dance performances by various collegc students will be held on January 25.
