More than 9 lakh students appeared for the exams from all over the country. Unlike ICSE Board, there is a provision for Private candidates to appear for the exam.
The timing for each CBSE March 2013 exam was 10:30 am to 01:30 pm with a duration of 03:00 hrs. CBSE 2013 Examination Question Paper with different set codes were distributed among the students so as to reduce the cases of cheating.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) performed the final board exams for 12th class students throughout the country. Hundreds of Thousands students seemed in class 12th exam 2013. Central Board of secondary education new Delhi declares result of classes x and xii, AIEEE and AIPMT in the months of May and June every year. CBSE Result class x 2013
Class X exams were held by CBSE earlier but now the students have a choice between board and school based exams. Board based exams are held in the month of March every year.
The result of both school and board based exams are declared together in the month of May. The date of result is normally in the second half of May.
CBSE Result for Class 12 2013 - CBSE announced the results for Class XII on May 28, 2012 for all regions. This year, CBSE is expected to announce the results around the same date i.e. the last week of May 2013.
