NEET 2013 aspirants should bring self post card size photograph at exam centers
THE candidates who will be appearing in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) to be conducted on Sunday. May 5 needs to bring self post card size photograph with them at the center. The photograph needs to be pasted in the pro-forma and it should be handed over to invigilator.
In Nagpur 19.360 candidates will be appearing in NEET to be conducted at 27 centres. The examination being held for the first time. Supreme Court had in a judgement made it clear that there should not be multiplicity of tests. On the basis of this judgement the Government is reducing the number of entrance tests. NEET is one such test to be conducted to get (he admission to health sciences courses.
NEET. initiated by the Central government in the year 2012. and conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). New Delhi is the national level common entrance exam for Medical and Dental courses admissions across the country. NEET 2013 exam is held for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical and Dental courses admissions. NEET UG is to be taken by students looking to pursue undergraduate Medical / Denial courses like MBBS/BDS admissions across the country. A candidate has to secure minimum marks in NEET UG 2013 held for the particular academic year besides obtaining minimum prescribed marks at the qualifying examination. NEET will be conducted on May 5. 2013 (Sunday). NEET UG 2013 in Karnataka state alone has been postponed 10 18th May. 2013 in view of the Assembly elections.
NEET UG SYLLABUS : Syllabus will cover questioas from Physics. Chemistry and Biology of Class XI and XII covering various Stale svllabi. as well as from CBSE. NCERT and COBSE.
DIFFERENT SET OF QUESTION PAPERS: NEET-UG. is being held on May 5 all over India except Karnataka. In Karnataka it will be held on May 18. Both exam-jnations to be conducted in Pen and Paper mode, will have different sets of question papers.
CBSE has informed thai the subject experts who have prepared question paper sets have certified that the same have been prepared according to the syllabus of NEET-UG notified by the Medical Council of India for Physics. Chemistry. Botany and Zoology and that, in every set, each subject carries questions of same difficulty level.
