i) Before submission of the online Application Form, the candidate should read this notification carefully.

ii)The Jammu & Kashmir SET Agency announces holding of the State Eligibility Test (SET) on lS^August 2013 (SUNDAY) for determining the eligibility of J & K State subjects for the Eligibility for Lectureship in universities and colleges of Jammu & Kashmir. The Agency will conduct SET in 36 subjectslisted under item no. 8 of this notification at2 (two) Centers of Srinagar and Jammu.

The result of the J & K SET to be held on 18 August, 2013 will be made available on the Kashmir University website: www.kashmJruniversity.ac.in as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their result.

Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with disability (PWD)/Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer), as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website : www.nebc.nic.in, (also given below) candidates will be given such special concessions as may be decided by the SET Agency.
