DTE Website Crash Not Working, Opening
THE website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) stopped function for two hours on Saturday, creating major problem. Later, it started functioning properly.
August 24 was the last day for on-line submission for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) round -II for Direct Second year engineering. As usual, on last day, students started filling up forms on-line. The website did not function for two hours from 3 to 5 pm. It was the prime period. Many students could not submit the applications during the period. It could not be clear whether DTE has extended the date, but till late night no information was available on the website.
