NIASM has been established by Govt, of India during XI plan with a mandate to undertake basic & applied research on abiotic stress management of food, horticultural & plantation crops, animal and fishery in the ever changing global climate and environment. In pursuance of this mandate the Director, NIASM invites applications from the young, talented eligible candidates for filling up of Technical posts of T-6 at NIASM Headquarters, Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. The posts are of permanent nature and at present are filled on temporary basis. The appointee will be made permanent on completion of satisfactory probation. Selection/Recruitment shall be made on the basis of written examination followed by the personal interview.

The candidates who have applied earlier vide NIAM Advt.No.01/11 published in Employment News dated 22-28 January, 2011 need not apply once again and they will be considered subject to eligibility.

The name of the post, functional category, essential qualification and the category to which the post is reserved are as mentioned in the table. All the posts mentioned below are in PB-III (Rs.15600 - 39100) with a GP of Rs.5400/- and the age limit is upto 35 years with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PH as prescribed by Govt, of India. The essential qualification for each post is Master's Degree in the relevant subject.
