Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) came in to existence as registered society on 30th January 1996. The School & Mass Education(S & ME) department in the Government of Odisha has the responsibility to achieve the goals of Universal Elementary Education (UEE).
The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 came into force w.e.f.01.04.2010 (here in after called the said Act).
In accordance with the provisions under section 38 of the said Act., the Odisha Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules,2010 ( here in after called in the said rules) has been notified by the State Government vide Notification No. 17291/SME, Dated. 27.09.2010 and came into force w.e.f. 18,h October, 2010.
The said Act proposes to provide free and Compulsory Education to every child of the age group of 6 to 14 years.
OPEPA SIKSHYA SAHAYAKS Recruitment 2013 Application MODEs
Application will be submitted through online.
A candidate may make an application in any Revenue District of the State irrespective of his / her home Revenue District subject to condition that he / she shall apply in respect of one Revenue District only.
The candidate shall have to furnish an affidavit / undertaking to the effect that he / she has not made application for engagement of Sikhya Sahayak in any one Revenue District other than the Revenue District applied for. If, on verification it is found that the candidate has applied in more than one Revenue District for engagement as Sikhya Sahayak, his / her applications shall be rejected without assigning any reason thereof In case of submission of defective affidavit/ undertaking the application shall also be rejected.
The candidates shall have to furnish a copy of the employment exchange registration card to the effect that she/he has registered his/her name in any employment exchange in the state at the time of verification of certificate.
