South Central Railway has invited invited from eligible sports persons in the prescribed format (Annexure - I) for filling up of 21 (Twenty one) vacancies in Group ‘C’ and 40 (Forty) vacancies in erstwhile Group D categories(GP Rs 1800) in the Pay Band and Grade Pay indicated below under Sports quota against Open Advertisement for the year 2013-14 over South Central Railway. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for this job, may apply through prescribed application format on or before 23.09.2013. Eligibility Criteria For South Central Railway Recruitment 2013-14 for Sports quota

(i) For Group C:

(a) 10th

class pass or above for those candidates applying for the posts with Grade Pay

Rs.1900/2000/-.

(b) Graduation from any recognized University for those candidates applying for the post

with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-/2400/-.

(ii) For Post in PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-: SSC or 8th passed (for outstanding sportspersons*).

Candidates applying for posts in Grade Pay Rs.1800/-shall possess the minimum educational qualification of SSC. However, ‘Outstanding sportspersons’ who do not possess SSC but having the qualification of 8th passed shall also apply.

Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2014 (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any category of candidates)

Application fee For South Central Railway Recruitment 2013-14 for Sports quota: 

Rs.40/- for post in Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- and Rs. 1900/2000/- and Rs.60/- for those in Grade

Pay Rs.2400/2800/-. Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad for the posts of Headquarters and Senior Divisional Finance Manager of respective divisions for the divisional posts.

How to Apply South Central Railway Recruitment 2013-14 for Sports quota : 

Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format downloaded from the the website and Application should be on a good quality A-4 size paper using one side only. News paper cutting should not be used as an application. A recent passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the application.The candidate should also attach two recent passport size colour photographs(same as the one affixed on the application form) and it should be clipped along with the application form.The candidate should also submit two self addressed unstamped envelopes (size 23 cms x 10 cms.) along with his/her application. Serving employee should apply through proper channel.

For Group ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts (at Headquarters) applications should be sent by Ordinary post only and addressed to ‘The Deputy Chief Personnel Officer (Admn.& Rectt.), Office of the Chief Personnel Officer, 4th Floor, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad – 500 071 (A.P)’ so as to reach the officer on or before the closing date. Application sent by Registered Post/Courier or Speed Post will not be acknowledged. The cover containing the application should clearly be superscribed as follows:
