Aadhar DBT LPG Linking 2013
THE State Government has included seven districts alongwith Gondia in third phase of Aadhar card linking for direct transfer of cash subsidy in beneficiaries account from October 1. With 23 per cent successful linking so far, Gondia district is ahead among the seven districts, informed District Manager of Lead Bank.
Government has made it mandatory for linking all Aadhar card numbers to bank accounts for direct benefit transfer and in third phase of card linking. Government has included seven districts namely Dhule. Nagpur. Gondia. Rainagiri. Thane, jalgaon and Sangli for starting DBT of LPG cylinder from October I. For this consumer is required to link his/her bank account of any nationalized bank. It lakes around two days process to link consumer's gas cylinder number. Aadhar card number and after linking it with the nationalised bank account, the numbers are linked up with NPCIL (National Payment Corporation of India). Once the numbers are linked cash benefit is directly transferred in respective consumer's hank account.
There are 94,138 LPG consumers in Gondia district and till date 31.3.12 have been linked up successfully giving a percentage of 23. Percentage of Dhulc is 3. Nagpur -8. Ratnagiri - 6, Thane - 2, Jalgaon - 4 and Sangli - 2.5.
Aadhar DBT LPG Linking 2013 Deadline extended
THOUGH DBT has been start ed from October I there are significant number of people left from the linking for different reasons like not having an Aadhar card, not having bank account in nationalized bank etc. Administration has extended the deadline by three months. Though the district supply office is yet to receive written instructions in this regard, but according loAnilSavai. District Supply Officer, the date has been extended upto December, which according to him will be final this time.
