INDIAN POST'S new concept My Stamp", will let you get a personalised stamp with your photograph on it. Officially launched in Mumbai yesterday, it will be shortly launched in Nagpur. too.

What it takes to be on a postal stamp? You have to be a King, or a great leader, or a social reformer. or a legendary artist, or an outstanding personality, or just a proud owner of Rs 300! Yes. Here is a news for those who want to surprise their friends by sending a letter with their photograph on the postal stamp. That too. a lull sheet of 12 stamps by spending Rs 300 only.

The Indian Postal Department. after successfully launching the 'My Stamp' project in several circles, has introduced the same in Mumhai recently. The project will be launched at Nagpur GPO subsequently. Once introduced in Nagpur. people can choose thematic postal stamp sheets and personalise them with their photograph or that of their friends.

To get personalised 'My Stamp,' the customers will have to fill in the form indicating choice of stamps from the available stamp sheet lets and to deposit Rs 300 along with colour photo with white background) either clicked at GPO or in hard/soft copy. The person whose picture is lo be put on the stamp should be present at the time of submission of application.
