AUDI RS 7 Sport back Car Rs 1.3 Crore

LUXURY car-maker Audi on Monday expanded its product range in the country by introducing the RS 7 Sport hack priced a Rs 1.28 crore ex-showroom Mumbai.

"After the overwhelming response to our Audi RS 5. which further boosted our leadership in the luxury sports car segment, we are confident the new Audi RS 7 Spon back with its aesthetic design and impressive sportiness would establish new benchmarks  in  the  performance sports car segment," Audi India head, Joe King said. The company sold the first new car to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Audi, which became the first luxury car-maker in the country to cross sales of 10 (XM) units in a year, also hinted at fiat growth this year, citing the forthcoming general elections. In 2013. it sold a record 10.002 units, up 11 per cent from 9,003 units in 2012. "We started the year with the historic achievement of becoming the first luxury car maker to achieve 10.(MK) unit sales in 2013." King said. "The market may not be very consumer-friendly in the first half due to elections but post-elections we will sec a possible growth," he said. The company, which currently had 34 dealerships, would increase number of outlets to 40 by this year. King said. While refusing to divulge numbers, he said Audi would definitely aim for higher growth and greater market share from estimated 31 pc last year. "We have not set a target. But we will definitely want to increase our market share with a right strategy." he said.
