MSRTC reintroduces Nagpur-Hyderabad bus
MAHARASHTRA Slate Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has restarted a bus service from Nagpur to Hyderabad from Friday in view of public demand.. From city the service is at 8.30 pm and Hydcrabad-Nagpur at 9.30 pm.
Ashok Patrikar. President of Pravasi Mahasangh. inaugurated the Parivartan bus at Ganeshpcth Bus Station on Friday at 8.30 pm. The ST bus was full to the capacity on its maiden trip. Acting Regional Manager. MSRTC Divisional Controller. Anil Mhetar. Divisional Traffic Officer Depot Manager. Jawarc, Bhosale. both Executive Engineers, staff and others were present on the occasion.
MSRTC had introduced Volvo has from Nagpur Hydrabad-Nagpur about two years ago. It worked well during season period but then passengers preferred private buses to Hyderabad as private bus operators reduced the fares. Ultimate, the bus service was discontinued in 2012.
The fare for Hyderabad is Rs 480 per head. This Ratrani bus leaves Ganeshpeth at 8.30 pm and reaches to Hyderabad at 7.45 am while Hyderabad-Nagpur hus starts at 9.30 pm and arrives here at 8.45 am.
The reeservation facility is made available at Ganeshpelh Bus Station, Mor Bhavan Terminus. Ravinagar Control Room as well online. Passegers may contact 0712-2726142 for getting information about reservation and 0712-2726221 for enquiry. MSRTC will operate additional buses from Nagpur to Sawangi. Saoner to Sawangi and Katol to Sawangi on January 14 to enable devotees participate in the religious programme at Bhayyuji Maharaj there. Moreover. MSRTC will also ply special buses from Nagpur to Adasa via Dhapewada and Saoner to Adasa via Borgaon on January 19 on account of Sankasii Chaturthi iTili Chaturthii to enable devotees worshop Lord Ganesh. The Divisional Controller lias appealed to passengers and devotees to take maximnum benefit of the services.
