TBJEE 2014 Application Process, Apply Online - tbjee.nic.in

Tripura joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges, Medical Colleges, and other professional degree courses.Born out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges.

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will conduct Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE)-2014 on the basis of its syllabi as updated in 2008 at Dharmanagar, Kailasahar, Udaipur and Agarala to prepare merit list for admission (*) to Engineering, Medical, Technical and other Professional Degree Courses against available seats reserved for the State of Tripura. The programme of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE)-2014 for four different subjects is as follow:

Question paper of each subject of examination will be of 100 marks comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Candidates seeking admission to Engineering / Technical Degree Courses (Group-A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to various Degree Courses of Medical / Veterinary / Agricultural / Fisheries and others (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates desiring to take chances in both of the above groups (Group-C) will have to appear in all the four subjects. Optical Marks Recognition / Reading (OMR) system will be adopted in TJEE-2014. Candidates are directed to go through the Prospectus about question pattern and mode of answer.

(*) It is to be noted that the admission of candidate to a certain College / University will be subjected to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria regarding cut-off marks and other norms as specified by the respective departments of State & Central Government7 Institution/' Council/ Body etc.

TBJEE 2014 Fees Details :

The Application Form & Prospectus may be obtained from counter of the office of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE). Old Secretariat Complex. Finance Building. 2n Floor, Agartala, PIN-799001 w.e.f. 15. 01.2014 to 12.02.2014 in between 11.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. on all working days (excluding Sundays and all other holidays) on payment of Rs. 80/-(Rs.50/- for Application Form & Rs. 30/- for Prospectus) in cash. However, on 12.02.2014. Forms will be distributed upto 5.00 PM.

The Application Form & Prospectus may also be collected from the following centres w.e.f 17.01.2014 to 12.02.2014 on all working days during office hours on payment of Rs.80/- in cash.

The Application Form & Prospectus may be obtained by postal request from the office of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination by sending Postal Order ofRs. SO/- (Rupees eighty only) per Form & Prospectus in favour of TRIPURA BOARD OF JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION., payable at Agartala Head Post Office. All postal requests must be accompanied with a self - addressed envelope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of Rs.5/- affixed on it.

Application Form, Prospectus and e-challan may also be downloaded from website \vww.tbiee.nic.in and the filled in Application Form will also be accepted provided the applicant makes payment of Rs. 80/- (Rupees eighty) only in cash and deposits the respective examination fees through e-challan alongwith the other charges, if any, at any branch of State Bank of India and submit the e-challan (Board's part) at the time of submission of Application Form in addition to the other necessary enclosures.

TBJEE 2014 Exam Fess Details

The examination fees for SC & ST candidates is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only, while for UR candidates it is Rs. 350/- (Rupees three hundred and fifty) only. However, the examination fees for BPL SC & ST candidates is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only, while for BPL UR candidates it is Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty) only.

Candidates must have to deposit their examination fees through prescribed e-challan supplied by TBJEE at any branch of State Bank of India. In that case they have to deposit bank commission / other charges in addition to the amount of exact examination fees. But if the examination fees are deposited at SBI, Agartala (Melarmath) Branch, there is no need to give exchange fees / commission / service charges etc.

TBJEET 2014 Important Dates :

The Application Forms will be received at the counter of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination Old Secretariat Complex. Finance Building Agartala from 15. 01. 2014 to 12. 02. 2014 in between 11 A. M. to 2 P. M. on all working days. However, on 12.02.2014, Forms will be received upto 5.00 PM.

The Application Form with all necessary enclosures and e-challan of Board's part (marked by S.B.I) making the payment of examination fees if sent by post must reach the office of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, Old Secretariat. Complex, Finance Building, 2n Floor, Agartala. PIN-799001 on or before 20. 02. 2014. In that case, the Application Form must be posted on or before 12.02.2014.

It is to be noted that while submitting/posting Application Forms, the candidates must have deposited their examination fees through e-challan form (supplied by TBJEE) within the stipulated period 15.01.2014 to 12.02.2014. Otherwise the Application Form will not be entertained.
