University of Gour Banga Zoology Department Recruitment 2013 - 2014
Applications are invited from eligible candidates in prescribed format for (a) Project Staff-I (01) @ Rs 4000/-per month and (b) Project Staff-ll (01) @ Rs 8000/- per month on purely temporary basis in DST-SERB project entitled "Plasmid mediated bacteriocin production and antibiotic resistance of Lactobacillus species and their antibacterial potential against multidrug resistant pathogenic bacteria" under the scheme-Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science.
Eligibility: Project Staff-I: M. Sc in any branch of Life Sciences; candidates having research experience in the relevant field will be given preference. Project Staff-ll: Ph. D; candidates having research experience with proven publications in the relevant field will be given preference.
The extended deadline of submission of application form is January 15, 2014. The applicants are required to submit their filled in application form (signed and scanned) on or before January 15, 2014 as the e-mail attachment to Dr. Shyamapada Mandal (E-mail: samtropmed@gmail.com), Associate Professor, Department of Zoology, UGB and Principal Investigator of the project- No need to attach any documents except the list of publication along with the filled in application form.
The applicants will be acknowledged within 48 hours of their submission of application form. The date of interview will be notified later on.
