Nirmal Urban Cooperative Bank 2014 News, Debit Card, Details

NIRMAL Urban Co-operative Bank Limited has introduced its own Merchant-Pos Debit Card to its customers. Addressing a press conference on Saturday. M V Raut. General Manager of the bank said. "We are the first co-operative bank in Vidarbha and the second to Pandharpur Urban Co-operative Bank in the State and country to give such facility to our customers."
He further added that customers could use the card at any ATMs all over die country. Customers could get facilities of payment through this debit card for shopping and consumer bills, etc. With three branches in file city, the bank had 22,000 accounts. It had registered a business of Rs III crore in the last fiscal, earning a net profit of Rs 82 lakh. The bank had deposits worth Rs 69 crore while it had disbursed Rs 41 crore as loans/advances in the last fiscal.
At present, the bank was having deposits worth Rs 100 crore and had given advances worth Rs 50 crore, noted Raul. "We are having a strict control over the loan disbursement and recovery and achieved a zero per cent net NPA." he said.
The bank has completed Core Banking Solution (CBS) and customers can now operate their accounts in anv of the branches.
The branches are having theirown IFSC code through which customers can remit their funds through RTGS/NEFT in their account directly. The bank also offers SMS facility and informs its customers about their transactions.
Looking into the demand of the customers, the bank had formulated attractive two deposit schemes viz. 'Dhaiialabh' in which 10 per cent Interest per annum was given for deposits for a period of 101 days and 'Dhanpurti' in which an interest of 11.50 per ceni was given for deposits for a period of 750 days. Besides the bank is providing franking and locker services to its customers at a competitive rate.
The bank was also planning to develop the Immediate Mobile Payment Service. Raul informed.
