DIRECT RECRUITMENT OF POSTMAN/MAIL GUARD

Applications are invited from the eligible Applicants for filling of vacancies of Postmen/Mail Gua The details of the vacancies in each Division/Unit in the circle are furnished as hereunder:-

Cost of Application Form:- The Application Form is sold at a Price of Rs. 100/- and the sale will be through All Head Post Offices in the Circle. The sale will commence from 05.03.2014.

Examination Feel: The Applicants belonging to General & OBC categories have to pay the prescribed Examination fee of Rs. 400/- and it should be deposited in a Post Office of the Rajasthan Postal Circle through e-pavment. ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES AND APPLICANTS BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE/ SCHEDULED TRIBE/ PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CATEGORIES ARE EXEMPTED FROM PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE. Applications received without prescribed fee receipt shall be summarily rejected.

The Applicants have to indicate their preference of Division, in the Circle, to which they intend to apply and also indicate the options for Examination centre. Allotment of examination city is the prerogative of the Postal Department and change in allotment of Examination city is not permitted at any stage.

How to apply:- The Applicants have to carefully read & follow the instructions given in Information Brochure / Instruction sheet supplied along with Application form to fill up the same. The Applications which do not conform to the conditions are liable to be rejected summarily.

Mode of dispatch:- The Applications duly filled in along with original receipt of e-payment issued by any Post Office of Rajasthan Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to " Direct Recruitment Cell, Office of Chief Postmaster General, Rajasthan Circle. Sardar Patel Mare. Jaipur -302007" through SPEED POST / REGISTERED POST of INDIA POST only. The Applications received through Courier or delivered in person will not be accepted.

The Aptitude Test will be conducted on a common date at Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner & Udaipur. The Admit card issued to the candidates will be purely provisional subject to his / her satisfying the eligibility conditions.

Requirement to serve in the army Postal Service :-   Any person appointed to the posts specified in the said schedule shall be liable to serve in the Army Postal Service in India or

aboard, as required.

The Department has right to cancel the recruitment process or modify the selection process with the reasons recorded in writing at any stage.

The Date of Examination will be notified in the leading newspapers of Rajasthan in due course.
