BSNL's land-line, broadband rentals to be increased from March 2014
INDIA'S largest Slate-owned telecommunications service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to increase the landline and broadband monthly tariff from March I across the country. "One India monthly plan for landline will be revised from Rs 180 toRs 195." BSNL CGM (Kolkata) Gautam Chakraborty told PTI.
The fixed monthly charge for limited usage broadband plans has similarly been increased. The revision was between Rs 24 and Rs 350 depending on the scheme, he added. The Rs 250 plan would now cost Rs 275. Rs 600 plan would gel revised to Rs 630 while, the Rs 400 plan would cost Rs 424. Rs 2,799 and Rs 3,699 plans would be dearer by 200 a month, he said.
