Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate, Allahabad is all set to conduct the Class 12 board exams 2014 in the state in the month of March. And, if follow the previous years’ exam schedules, the board will most likely declare the UP Board Class 12th Result 2014 in the last week of May 2014. Students who are going to take the exam would be able to access their results here as and when the board declares the result.

As per the data collected, 31, 27,066 students are going to sit in the UP Board’s Intermediate examination 2014.

Last year, that is, in 2013 the class 12th state board exams in Uttar Pradesh 2013 was flagged off on 12 March and finished on 06 April 2013 and the results of which were declared on 5 June 2013. Of the total 26 lakh students who appeared in Class 12th board exams in UP last year, 92.68% passed the exams, and with a pass percentage of 96.32%, girls outshined the boys in the state. Only 89.79% of the total boys appeared in the exam were passed.

Established in 1921, the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education is a board of school education in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The board executes with its headquarter in Allahabad and four regional offices in Meerut, Varanasi, Bareilly and Allahabad.

Besides, preparing syllabus for students from Class I to Class XII, for schools affiliated with it, the UP Board is responsible to conduct three board examinations in the state viz. the Middle School Exam for Class VII, the High School Exam for Class X and the Intermediate Exam for Class XII, which is a school-leaving examination.

The Board conducted its first public examination in 1923 and is the largest examining body in the world.
