Panna Tiger Reserve (PTR) Tigress gives birth to to cubs
THE tigress (T-5) at Panna Tiger Reserve (PTR) has given birth to two cubs under Panna Tiger Re-establishment plan, claimed officials on Saturday. Both the cubs are five days old only. According to information given by PTR officials, the two years old T-5 tigress was sitting at one place for last five days. The patrolling team led by Ramjan Khan observed the activity of tigress and found the new cubs. T-5 is sister of T-4 (female tiger) and after giving birth to these two cubs, its mother died. Both tigress were born and brought up at PTR management. The reserve officials gave artificial training to these two cubs for being wild. The tigress T-5 was born to the park on November 13. 2011. Notably, the tigress has given birth to cub for the first time. Adding these two cubs. PTR has now 30 wild cats. Recently. Panna-212 tiger was left to the Sanjay Tiger Reserve under some project.
