RTMNU NAAC Inspection
RASHTRASANT Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) under the new leadership is prepared itself to face inspection by committee of National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC). The learn is expected to arrive in the month of August.
With Acting Vice-Chancel for Anoop Kumar swinging into action the things arc getting streamlined. AIter passing budget. Anoop Kumar is eyeing for NAAC inspection, holding 100th convocation, resolving the issue of 250 banned colleges. Recently he has appointed Dr Shrikant Komawar as Director of Board of College and University Development (BCUD) and conducted interview for the post of Pro-Vice Chancellor.
With many allegations have been made against university. now ii is thirsty to gel good NAAC gradation. The NAAC team is arriving in the month of August.
The university first time faced NAAC between December 18 and 21.2001. The second assessment was done in the year 2009. Now it has started preparing itself for the third assessment from January 29, 2014. According to the rules of NAAC. Idler of intent is to be submitted six months prior. RTMNU has sub-mined the sameon July 27,2013. Abiding by the rules of NAAC. university has presented Self Study Report (SSR) which was also sent on March 3, 2014.
The dates for the visit of NAAC revaluation committee suggested by University include August 7,8,9 or 11,12,13 or 21,22,23 Now NAAC will decide when to visit.
University under the leadership of Anoop Kumar is giving priority to NAAC visit and he has discussed the matter with Director of Inter Quality Assessment Cell. Dr S P Kane on April 15.
