Last Date for Receipt of Examination Fees in the Bank: 21 May, 2014.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 26 May, 2014.

SPECIAL NOTICE: “Applications will be accepted only when fee is deposited in the Bank upto prescribed last date for fee submission. If the fee is deposited in Bank after prescribed last date for fee submission, the candidature of the candidate will be rejected and application will not be accepted. Once fee deposited in the Bank will not be refunded to the candidate in any condition. It will be responsibility of the candidate to deposit fee in the Bank upto prescribed last date for fee submission and submit the application upto prescribed last date for submission of applications.”

No certificates/mark sheets are required along with ‘On-line application forms’.

Application sent through any other mode shall not be entertained. Candidates are advised to apply On-line only. 7. No. of vacancies: Presently the approx no. of vacancies is 300. The details of approximate posts to be included in this examination carrying the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs 4200 to Rs 15600-39100 Grade Pay 5400 are as follows:-

Collector, District Savings Officer, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Asstt. Regional Transport Officer, District Social welfare Officer, Cane Inspector and Asstt. Sugar Commissioner,

उत्तर प्रदेश लोक सेवा आयोग ने सम्मिलित राज्य/प्रवर अधीनस्थ सेवा परीक्षा-2014 (पीसीएस) के लिए नोटिफिकेशन जारी कर दिया है. इसके लिए गुरुवार से ऑनलाइन आवेदन किया जा सकेगा. आखिरी तारीख 26 मई है. फिलहाल एसडीएम, डिप्टी एसपी समेत अन्य विभागों में 300 पदों के लिए आवेदन मांगा गया है.

प्रारंभिक परीक्षा का रिजल्ट घोषित होने तक पदों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी की उम्मीद है. आयोग ने परीक्षा प्रारूप में भी कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है. पीसीएस के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन मांगा गया है. इसके लिए फीस ई चालान या आई कलेक्ट दो माध्यमों से जमा होगी. फीस भारतीय स्टेट बैंक तथा पंजाब नेशनल बैंक की किसी भी शाखा में जमा की जा सकती है. फीस जमा करने की आखिरी तारीख 21 मई है.

ऑनलाइन आवेदन की प्रक्रिया तीन चरणों में पूरी होगी. पहले रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना होगा. इसके बाद फीस जमा करनी होगी. अंतिम चरण में फीस तथा अन्य कॉलम भरकर फार्म सबमिट करना होगा. आईएएस के पैटर्न पर पीसीएस मुख्य परीक्षा के प्रारूप में बदलाव के लिए भी आयोग ने पहल की थी. इसके तहत मुख्य परीक्षा में एक ही वैकल्पिक विषय का प्रावधान है.

आयोग ने इसका प्रस्ताव भी तैयार कर लिया था लेकिन समय रहते सिलेबस तैयार नहीं होने के कारण इस बार पुराने पैटर्न पर ही परीक्षा कराने का निर्णय लिया गया है.
