The committees have power to give permission to any outsider interested in using the resources in their vicinity and for that purpose they will get share. The board also allots funds to the committee for implementing schemes, thus providing employment opportunities to the locals to help earn livelihood.
Biodiversity Mitra Mandals are also being formed for creating awareness among the people on preservation of biodiversity.
