The Department of Pre-University Education (PUE) conducts the 1st year and 2nd year Pre-University Examinations (Class 11 & Class 12 exams). Pre-University Education (PUE) is a link between Secondary Education and Higher Education. About 7 Lakh students appeared for the Karnataka PUC Examinations 2014, which were conducted from 12 March to 27 March, 2014. According to reports, the Karnataka SSLC Results 2014 are also expected to be announced on May 15 and a confirmation in this regard is expected soon. The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB), conducts the Karnataka SSLC Examination (Class 10 Examination.)
