This year the class 10 examination for West Bengal Board of Secondary
Education (WBBSE) was started in February and it ended in March. Several
examination centers were allotted for accommodating about 10, 50,959
students, out of which 4, 52,182 were boys and 4, 89,760 were girls.
Last year, the number of students was about 10, 36,659. The number of
boys among it was 4, 47,254 and regular girl candidates were 4, 75,648.
The pass percentage of class 10 in 2014 for WBBSE was recorded as
81.81%. it was on 27 May 2013 when the results were declared.
