Maharashtra HSC Result 2014: Date of Declaration
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will most likely declare the HSC Results 2014 in the last week of May 2014. Students who will be appearing in the exam would be able to see their results at the board’s website: www.msbshse.ac.in or else here at this platform, as and when the MSBSHSE declares the result.
To access the results, the students would need their Roll Number and submit their request for the result. Provisional mark sheets would be made available at the board’s website after declaration of the result.
The exam schedule or date sheet for the Maharashtra HSC Exam 2014 has already been made available on the MSBSHSE website according to which, the exam will be commenced on and from 20 February 2014 and will end on 26 March 2014. Also, the exams will be held in two shifts a day – 11:00AM to 02:00 PM and 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM.
For 2013 batch, the Maharashtra Higher Secondary School exams were held from 21 February to 25 March 2013 at different centers in 9 districts Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nasik, Latur and Konkan. And, the Maharashtra HSC Result 2013 was declared on 30 May 2013.
According to the available data, 14, 99,276 students appeared in the Class 12 examinations of the Maharashtra Board last year, and out of which 12,51,528 passed successfully that included 6,69,005 boys and 5,90,523 girls. In terms of gender wise pass percentage, girls remained ahead of boys with 84.90 pass percent, and that of boys was 82.24%.
District wise pass percentage in Maharashtra HSC Exams 2013 was as follows – Konkan - 93.79; Kolhapur - 90.36; Mumbai - 88.92; Pune - 88.25; Nashik - 83.86; Aurangabad - 81.18; Amravati - 74.60; Nagpur - 73.99; and Lathur - 73.75.
In 2013, the pass percentage for science students in Mumbai was 87.55 per cent, a marginal plunge form 2012’s record of 87.85 per cent. While in Arts stream, 67.25 per cent students passed the exam, which was a notable decline from the preceding year’s 69.35 per cent, the commerce students witnessed an improvement with pass percentage being 73.16% vis a vis last year’s 71.4 per cent.
