DTE Engineering Admission 2014 Cap Round 1, Round 2 Students Status Nagpur
WITH Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) completing the allotment of CAP round-1. 19693 students did not get allotment. If the university-wise break-up is taken into consideration. the colleges under Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) stood 8th as far as allotment percentage is concerned. RTMNU secured 42.52 per cent allotment. Out of total 15,463 seats in Centralised Admission Process (CAP) under RTMNU. 6,575 have been allotted while 8,888 remained vacant. Even Saffl Gadge Baba Aniravati University could attract more number of students.
Most of the students are tilted towards autonomous iastitutions. It is evident faun the allotment percentage of autonomous institutions which is 94.23. The total CAP seats in Slate level/autonomous/deemed University are 14,233, The total allotted scats are 13.412 and total vacant seats are 821.
After autonomous institutions, Mumbai university topped the table with 67.64 per cent allotment. The lowest per eentage of allotment scored by Solapur University. Only 27.78 per cent seats have been allotted.
Total number of institutes in State is 364. In CAP there are 1,31,987 total seats with 94,566 students participated in CAP. 74,873 seats have been allotted while 57,149 did not get a single allotment. The per eentage of total allotted seat is 56.72 per cent.
After Mumbai. Pune university scored 60.38 %. North Maharashtra University. Jalgaon scored 47.35%, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University- 44.73%. Shivaji University. Kolhapur- 43.92%. Gondwana University- 43.27%. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Maraihwada University. Aurangabad- 42.88%. RTMNU- 42.52. Swami Ramanand Teerth Maraihwada University. Nanded - 31.23%. Solapur University- 27.28%.
In CAP round-I. the first option is mandatory.
