The Maharashtra Board announces their datesheet for Class 10 and Class 12 much before the actual exam date in order to kill the fear and anxiety of the board aspirants.

As per a website, a senior official said that the purpose is to kill the suspense and fear surrounding exam dates, which students usually worry about through out the year. By making the schedule available at the start of the academic year, they are giving students enough time to work according to the time-table.

The exams are to be taken in two shifts i.e. morning shift from 11am to 2 pm and the evening shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Maharashtra Board Class 10 exams are scheduled to begin from March 3 and they will conclude on March 26.
