The Kenya National Examinations Council offers the KCSE examination and certifies qualified candidates. The process of offering this examination involves registration of candidates, test development, printing of the examination, packing and distribution of examination papers, supervision and invigilation, marking, processing, release of results and certificates. Due to the escalating cost of running this examination, it has been found necessary to include all chargeable services in the KCSE examination fees with effect from March 2014 as reflected in the table below:-
