The launch of Rupay ATM cum Debit Card aims to provide the customers with 24x7 ATM services across the country. Gadkari highlighted that a digital revolution would be the future in banking. Information Technology, e-governance. Internet Banking and Mobile Banking would change the way people lived and conducted everyday transactions. He also said that the RBI should try to revive bonafide co-operative banks with good intentions, track record and reputation. The RBI should provide assistance to co-operative banks which were in financial trouble due to economic conditions, he added.
