WEDNESDAY. September 17. will be the last day for registration of new voters for Legislative Assembly elections this time. The administration has appealed to the people to take advantage of the Opportunity and enroll as voters.
To maximize voter enrollment, the administration has launched a suite-level toll-free number 1800221950. Besides, voters may visit the websites http://ceo.maharashtra.gov.in or nagpur.nic.in to check if their names are in the electoral roll for respective constituency of Legislative Assembly.
It may be mentioned here that after Lok Sabha eleclions, in which thousands of voters complained that their names went missing despite having Elector's Photo Identity Card (EPIC), the administration conducted a special drive in the month of June to check what went wrong.
