MAHATET Dec 2014 Details

You have to provide Seat No. of Last TET Exam or Registration No. and SSC Certificate Number as registered in previous Exam.

Government of India has enacted ‘The Right of Children to free and compulsory primary education (std.1 to 8) Act 2009’ for the age group 6 to 14. Act of free & compulsory education is implemented in the State of Maharashtra since 1st April 2010.

Central Government declared National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) as Educational Authority to define / finalize eligibility and service conditions for the appointment as primary Teacher. Accordingly NCTE declared educational & professional qualifications and compulsory teacher Eligibly test for the appointment as primary teacher.

State of Maharashtra implemented Right to education Act from 1st April 2010. State of Maharashtra defined professional and educational qualifications and compulsory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) according to NCTE guidelines by Government Resolution dated 13th February 2013. Procedure of conducting TET fixed by Government Resolution dated 23 August 2013 and responsibility of conducting examination is handed over to the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, Pune.

The following persons shall be eligible for appearing in the TET:


i. A person who has acquired the academic and professional qualifications specified in the Government of Maharashtra Resolution dated 13 Feb. 2013.


ii. A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the appropriate authority, as the case may be) specified in the of Maharashtra Resolution dated 13 Feb. 2013. 

If you dont have enough information, you just continue with new Registration. 

Qualifying Marks
Please refer to Government of Maharashtra GR dated 23-Aug-2013


A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.

A person belonging to SC,ST,VJ,NT,OBC, differently abled persons, who scores 55% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.          

How to Apply For Mahatet 2014 Examination ? 

Application for enrollment is to be done in 5 Stages as named below for Maharashtra State Teacher Eligibility Test.
1.       Registration
2.       Photo and Signature Upload
3.       Review and Challan Print
4.       Fees Payment and Update Challan
5.       Print Confirmation Page and Submit to DEO
 
1.       Registration -
Instructions for Online Application are as follows.

Instructions to Apply online if Registered for DEC 2013 TET Exam :-
i)   Click on button "Apply Online Using DEC 2013 TET Info" available on Home Page.
ii)   Provide Last year Exam Seat No. or Registration No. and SSC Certificate No. in the form available. After that the last year Exam information will be available in new Application form.
If Provided information is incorrect then Last year exam information can not be used. In this case you can register by click on "Apply Online" button available on Home page.
iii)   Verify all available information.
iv)   correct last year Exam information if needed.

Registration Process requires following details :-
1.       Applicants Name, Fathers Name and Surname [use a hyphen (-) in the Surname in the case you dont have a Surname]
2.       Date of Birth as on SSC Certificate
3.       Applicants  SSC Certificate on which the above  date is mentioned
4.       Applicant’s Full Permanent Address classified as Survey No./House No./Flat No./Lane/Society (if available) , Village/City , Post (if available), District, Taluka/Tahasil, Pin Code, Telephone No.(with STD Code) (if available).
5.       Applicant’s Mobile No. Which the candidate can receive SMS, Phone call from MSCE.
6.       Applicant’s   email id (in use) on which the candidate can receive the emails from MSCE.
7.       Whether Applicant’s   Domicile status  is Maharashtra  or Not.
8.       Applicant’s   Gender (Male/Female)
9.       Applicant’s   Caste Category. If not in the Open Category, the candidate should have a Caste Certificate and the Date of Issue of which will be required to be entered in the Registration.
10.    Whether candidate is differently abled ? If differently abled the candidate should have a certificate if the same. If differently abled whether he/she needs a writer. If candidate wants a writer, he should take prior permission (8 days before exam date) of concerned District Education officer(Primary)
11.   The Teaching Standards For which the candidates want to apply. Whether 1st to 5th or 6th to 8th or for both. He/She can select any one or both. Candidate applying for 1st to 5th  will appear for Paper 1. Candidate Applying for 6th to 8th  will appear for Paper 2. Candidate Applying for both will have to appear for Paper 1  and Paper 2 both.
12.   The First Language of teaching and the Second language of teaching.
13.   The Educational Qualification with its Total Marks , Marks Obtained and Percentage scored. Only HSC and Degrees other than Education degree are applicable.
14.   The Professional Qualification, the duration of the course and whether passed, appeared or pursuing . Only Educational Diploma and Degrees are Applicable. Appeared or pursuing candidates have to have a collage bonafied certificate.
15.   The District of Maharashtra in which the candidate wants to select a Exam center from.
16.   One of the following photo identity proof and its unique number for the identification of the candidate
a.       Election Photo Voter Card
b.      Passbook of Nationalised Bank with Photo
c.       Driving Licence
d.      PAN Card
e.      Aadhar Card
f.        Passport
 
The Process
The candidate is expected to fill up all the mandatory information (marked with *). The Candidate will be prompted to by the red instructions on the right hand side of the form. On filling up all the information the candidate have to read the Pledge and have accepted the same before he/she saves the form. The Form will be validated for qualification. If not qualified the candidate will receive a message in red on the right hand side of the qualification information. The candidate is expected to change the Teaching class applied for or correct the qualification if entered wrong. No disqualified form will be accepted.
 
If the Form is qualified is accepted and a Registration No is issued for the candidate. A SMS of the same will be auto sent to the Registered Mobile No of the Applicant having Registration Number and the password of the account. And The Applicant is taken to the next stage.
 
2.       Photo and Signature Upload -
 
This stage requires image of the candidate’s recent photograph and a image of candidates signature.
 
The Process
Color Scan a Color photograph of size 3.5cm X 4.5cm at 200dpi.  Crop the image to the boundaries of the photograph. Check that the image size is within 5kb to 100 kb. The image should be in .jpg file.
 
Draw a box of size 4.5cm X 2cm on a white paper . Make a signature in that box with a pen with black ink. Scan the page at 200dpi and crop the image to the boundaries of the signature box. Check the image size is within 2kb to 50kb. The image should be in .jpg file.
 
On the Upload Photo and Sign Page use the choose file or Browse button to browse the image file form your computer disk. And click Upload button to upload the image. Use the same procedure for both Photo and Signature.
The image will appear below the selection if uploaded.
On uploading both images click ‘Go to View and Challan Print’ button to move to the next stage.
 
3.       Review and Print Challan -
The Process
On the view profile page, go through all the information in details, check for the correctness of each and every information you have entered.
 
If any correction use the edit Change/button to change  and save the data.
 
Once you are sure about the data Click the Challan Print button you will not be able to change any of your information.
 
On clicking the challan print, a popup window with printable content will appear. Print the page on a A4 Size paper .
 
The Bank challan is 3 Copies. 1. Bank copy, 2. Candidate Copy, 3. MSCE EO Copy.
The challan printed will have Applicant information , Fees amount to be deposited the SBI Account Information on which the fees is to deposited.
 
You can log out log out form the system and go to the next stage.
 
 
4.       Fees Payment -
Deposit the fees in any State Bank of India Branch using the above printed challan. Get back the Candidate Coy and MSCE EO Copy form the Bank Branck on deposit. Verify that the bank has written the Transaction Id and Branch Code in the space made avaialable on both of the challans.
 
Click Login link on mahatet.in to log on to the online form system. Go to the Update Challan section. Enter the Deposit Date, Branch Code, Transaction Id, Amount Deposited in the Challan Update Form.
 
Use save button to save the Information and Go to the Next Stage.
 
5.       Print Confirmation Page and Submit to DEO -
Use the ‘Print Confirmation Page’ button to view the Printable Page of the Confirmation Page . Print the Confirmation page on an A4 size paper.  Get two copies to the Confirmation page. Paste Photograph in the space made available on the Confirmation Page, below the Printed Photo. Carry the Original documents listed in the Verification box to the District Education Office along with the 2 copies of the Confirmation Page with Photographs pasted.  Sign the in the required space on the right side of the Printed sign in front of the Designated Officer while submitting the confirmation. The Designated Officer will verify the Original Documents if required. You need to submit only the confirmation page. The Other copy of the confirmation page will be used as an acknowledgement and will signed and given back to the candidate by the Designated Officer.
 
Acceptance of the Confirmation Page by the designated officer will complete your Application for the Maha-TET enrollment
 
Only Applicants who have satisfactorily completed all 5 stage will be allowed to appear for the Maha-TET
